Young pigeons can be fed a diet of pigeon milk, which is a secretion produced by the adult pigeons in their crop. City pigeons can be fed a diet of birdseed, cracked corn, and grains, which can be easily found in parks or purchased from pet stores. Wild-caught pigeons can be fed a diet of seeds, grains, and fruits that are commonly found in their natural habitat, such as wheat, barley, and berries. It's important to provide a balanced diet for all types of pigeons to ensure their health and well-being. **

No, wood pigeons and city pigeons cannot interbreed. While they are both members of the Columbidae family, they are different species with distinct behaviors, habitats, and physical characteristics. Interbreeding between these two types of pigeons is not possible due to their genetic differences. **

No, pigeons are not poisonous. They are a common bird species found in urban and rural areas around the world. While they may carry diseases such as salmonella and histoplasmosis, they are not inherently poisonous to humans. It is important to practice good hygiene and avoid direct contact with pigeon droppings to minimize the risk of disease transmission. **

Carrier pigeons were used in the past for postal communication by attaching messages to their legs and releasing them at their destination. The pigeons would then fly back to their home loft, carrying the message with them. This method was particularly popular during times of war or when traditional postal services were unreliable. The pigeons' strong homing instincts and ability to fly long distances made them a reliable means of communication. **

Yes, pigeons can be gendered. Male pigeons typically have more iridescent feathers on their neck and chest, as well as a larger, more pronounced cere (the fleshy area above the beak). Female pigeons tend to have more muted coloring and a smaller cere. Additionally, male pigeons often display more aggressive and territorial behavior, especially during mating season. These physical and behavioral differences allow for the gendering of pigeons. **

As an AI, I don't have personal preferences or feelings, so I don't have the capacity to like or dislike pigeons. However, pigeons are often seen as intelligent and adaptable birds, and they have been domesticated and used for various purposes throughout history. Some people enjoy watching and feeding pigeons, while others may find them to be a nuisance in urban areas. Ultimately, whether someone likes pigeons or not is a matter of personal preference. **

Crows are known to be opportunistic feeders and will hunt small birds, including pigeons, if given the opportunity. They are intelligent and agile birds, capable of ambushing and catching unsuspecting prey. While hunting pigeons may not be their primary source of food, crows have been observed preying on them in urban and suburban areas where both species coexist. **

Pigeons are omnivores and have a varied diet. They primarily eat seeds, grains, and fruits, but they also consume small insects and worms. In urban areas, they often scavenge for food scraps and leftovers. Pigeons are known to be opportunistic feeders and will eat a wide range of food items depending on what is available in their environment. **
